We had a proper English breakfast today at the cutest Cosy Club in Leicester, and just when I didn’t think I could love it more, they had an espresso martini that rivals any in the US🍸 I can’t believe we’ve only been here two days, it’s been packed with the best family time that fills our hearts with so much joy!

Golden hour in one of my favorite spaces. I got this Ginger Jar from the vintage @heikkinen_rose shop and I couldn’t be happier with it 😍 Katie, the owner, wrote me the sweetest note about how she started her business right after acquiring this jar and has been waiting for the right person to send it to. I’m hoping I’m that right person and it gives me the creativity and motivation she has!

What is spooky season you ask? Not getting a piece of this sour cream bourbon pumpkin coffee cake!! I’ve been dying to bake a good fall dessert and partnered with @balduccismarket on this stunner. She’s laced with cardamom and four roses bourbon (Rishil told me I could use it, ok!!), and topped with a salted pecan streusel which is heaven 😍 let me know if you want the recipe!! #whiskedaway

My mother in law and I went to @ourmomeugenia today in Mosaic and the food brought me back to Rishil and my trip in Greece! 🇬🇷The trio of dips (do the eggplant, feta, and fava) were incredible with the fresh warm pita, and the grilled octopus was just as good as what we had in Santorini. Our server was so much fun and recommended the Santorini Blue wine- if you like white wine you have to try it, we liked it so much we had two. If you’re near northern VA make a reservation and go!

Homemade salted caramel 🍯 My trick is to cook the sugar until it’s almost burnt, adding a bitter depth that balances out the sweetness. Push the molten sugar to a deep amber, and add a big pat of salted butter and a glug of cream to stop the cooking. Stir the silky caramel into coffee, eat by the spoonful, or brush onto an apple tart. I’ll show you the last one tomorrow 😉
